Douglas All Season P195/55/R14
Update to the manufacturer - I was in the Walmart, Creighton Road, Pensacola, FL and snapped a picture of the display tire ed. pictures not submitted, which showed the codes for this tire manufactured by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Fayetteville, NC, in the 35th week of 2016.
I am considering the Douglas tire (different size) as a budget replacement to my Michelin Premier A/S tires. I have 73K miles on this set, yet don't know if my Hyundai with 159K miles will last much longer and don't want to drop $680 on tires if Walmart/Douglas/Goodyear tires ($55+$12 installation) will get me down the road just fine.
I'll invest in an alignment like I normally do - and keep them balanced/rotated, properly inflated as I should. I don't do any hard cornering, hit curbs, fast starts/hard stops, etc.
Haven't had tire troubles except for a few screws/nails over the years - pretty certain HOW you drive and how you CARE for your car and tires goes a LONG way to how long they last; of course, I've been lucky to avoid a lemon off the tire line, too, so there's that.
Anyway, just wanted to update the DOUGLAS TIRE thread with info about who is manufacturing this tire for Walmart.
