Tire Review: Wild Country TXT Sport Tires

by Harold
(Claremont NH USA)

I have a new set of Wild Country TXT Sport tires on my Expedition and love them. I wouldn't change them for anything.

Seems to be what I have seen over the years, a lot of people talk crap about a tire to get you go to another that doesn't offer what you may get in others. No, I am not saying this tire set that I have is a performance tire but for my driving needs/style, it works just fine.

Editorial Comment:

No doubt the makers of these tires are pleased to read a comment like this and it may also be comforting to other owners of this tire,
but your experience would have been a lot more useful if you would have described what your "driving needs/style" is along with details about the kind of roads you travel, the distances and conditions under which you use your Wild Country TXT Sport tires.

An okay tire for the price.

Good sidewall strength.

Got about 40,000 miles out of them.

Towed a 24 foot camper and they did well.

I live in Maine and the tires did well on the snow and ice when new, but were less than average when half worn.

Would probably buy them again only if they were on sale.

Tire Reviews: Wild Country Radial RVT

by tim
(Quenemo, Ks. U.S.)

I have had Wild Country Radial RVT tires for two and a half years. They have 45,000 miles on them and are still in decent shape.

The only problem I have with this is nobody around here carries this tire anymore.

I have nothing but good reviews about this tire.

They have taken me into places and back where I probably should not have been, and where most people would not go.

Tire Review: Wild Country Radial RVT

I love my Wild Countrys. They've got a lot of miles on them now but are still great in mud.

One disadvantage for some people is that they are very very loud on pavement (33x12.5) but I kinda like the noise.

These tires are extremely good on mud and sand, decent on snow, but like I said I have 12.50's so they slide a bit being so wide.
