Tire Reviews: Douglas X-Trac 215/70r15

The tire I'm reviewing is Walmart's Douglas X-Trac 215/70R15.
I got these tires in Sept 2010. They were installed on a 91 Lincoln Towncar. The installation was done by Walmart 50 Bouklder Way Biddeford, Me 04005

Since then I have used them mostly for daily driving with no unusual or important exceptions to my normal driving.

Until now I have put on about 2000 miles between 9/2010 and 1/2011.

The tires only lasted to Jan 2011 with Walmart refusing to warranty because they said my alignment was off. I was forced to purchase another set which lasted to 8/1/2011 when one of the side walls blew out for no reason. Once again, Walmart refused to honor the warranty.

My feeling about using these same tires again is like expecting Congress to ever get their act together.

My recommendation to anyone else thinking about buying them is DON'T. Walmart should be ashamed for a lot of reasons and this is just one more.
