Douglas Xtra Trac Tires are excellent for someone on a budget Because tires nowadays are so expensive it hardly seems Appropriate for those On a fixed Income to shell out over $300 On a full set of 4 Kumho Solus KR16 Tires.
Wal mart may own that brand Name and Yes GoodYear Kelly Plant still to date manufactures the tires This coming directly from Goodyear Tire Corporation Spokesman.
I have always used Xtra Trac because they last longer then regular tires Mine were replaced after 250,000 Miles of Use when they were replaced they still Had over 75,000 Miles of tread Left On them.
I live In missouri where we get Snow and they grip the road Like glue even on snow and Ice.
Badmouthing the name is fine But For the price and the warranty that backs them I wont ever use another brand tire

I suspect you got a bit carried away with the zeros on the mileage and tread life figures above. It would seem more logical, and reasonable if you were to change those figures to 25,000 and 7,500 respectively. If anyone ever came out with a tire that got 250,000 miles use NOBODY would be bad-mouthing them even if they cost triple what other tires did!
