Tire Rant: America's Tire Co. in Oregon

America's Tire Company in Tigard, Portland, and Hillsboro, Oregon made me feel like the employees have no concern for your property or special instructions. They would rather argue and deny they did anything wrong.

The #1 phrase I got was "it came in like this".


I have reverse mount rims, all 4 rims have been replaced 3 times now. Every time I went in I would explain the reverse mount procedure due to no one knowing what that meant ... to me that's strange.

After they bent a lip on every rim they tell me the car came in like that. But, the kicker is I watched them do it.

Other customers, too, watch and comment on the lack of attention.

I felt like a fool returning 2 more times after the first time. never again.


The best that could be done to fix this would be to have better trained employees, who listen to the customer to start.


Dropping rims on mounting machine is bad.
