Your Light Truck Tires
by: Wheels Etc

The rolling radius is the way to detirmine at what pressure you should run any tire. Finding that information is not something you will get from your normal tire dealer. In addition to a tape measure you will need to add the loaded condition of the vehicle on which you will be using these tires. The size you have chosen is a very stiff tire and will stand at it's optimum radius with significantly less air pressure than needed when the truck is loaded. If you are pulling a trailer or have a load in the truck on a normal basis I suggest you consider using about 75% of the recommended maximum air pressure as marked on the side of the tire. I suspect that maximum to be 80 psi so a good running pressure could be 60psi. I doubt you can find and visual or measurable difference in the actual height of the axel at this pressure. In addition I believe the tire will build up heat at any pressure less than this despite it possibly looking ok with much less air.
