Solvent based Dressings

Harvey Brodsky, Managing Director of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau has responded that:

"Any solvent based compound is not usually good for tires because they can dissolve the rubber compounds. It is always best to use something that is water based. Plus it is safer than solvent based."
