Lightning
by: Wheels Etc

I suspect this damage caused by an act of God will be difficult to claim. Read your auto insurance policy for "act of God" and if that is not excluded you must make a claim for damage. Of course there is nothing about this accident that could be blamed on the manufacturer. I would not think any tire warranty would cover this accident. Often dealers write unconditional warranties and could be held to replace these tires but the bottom line is you need to replace these tires regardless of who pays for them.
