Replacing leased car tires

2005 VW Passat
I am currently leasing a 2005 VW Passat with tires that have only 36,000 miles on them.
They need replacing according to the dealership.
I have 10 months left on my lease and really don't want to spend a lot on tires when I'm just going to turn it in. LEASES SUCK! Anyway, the size that is on it is 205/55-16.
Can you help suggest ANYTHING?
