Your mixed tires
by: Wheels Etc

Clearly your situation requires some understanding. First the maximum pressure on the sidewall of the tire is a quide not a requirement. I do recommend no less than 80% of the maximum pressure to be used on any tire. That would then be 66psi on the LT version of these tires and no more than 10% over the maximum of any tire and normally only when driving long distance. That would allow a little over 35psi on the P series tires. Under these conditions these tires will perform in dramatically different ways and will require very careful and competent driving skills. I would not recommend this combination for more than a brief trip to a tire repair or tire replacement. I highly recommend you take action soon rather than wait and I also suggest you will have less difficulty if the mismatched tires are on the rear of your truck however that continues to be argued among experienced drivers and tire dealers so the only conclusion is that everyone that should know agrees it is not a good idea to use this combination at all.
