The Flat tire

A couple out on a date on a snowy night get a flat tire. He gets out to change the tire, but before long he comes back in, job half-done, with blue hands because he doesn't have any gloves.

He asks his date, "My hands are almost frozen and I don't have any gloves.  Can I put them between your knees to warm up, or we'll be here all night."

She says all right.

A few minutes later he goes back out to the flat tire. But it's so cold, he has to come back in again to warm up his hands again in the same way.

Finally he finishes the job and triumphantly gets back into the car As he puts the key into the ignition, she looks at him and asks, "Aren't your ears cold?"
