These tires came with my 2006 Ford F150.

I have approx. 42000 miles on this vehicle and I noticed a bump on the sidewall of one tire. I have not examined the other tires yet. This bump is caused by the plies in the sidewall separating and thus was commonly referred to as a "ply separation". This makes this particular tire too risky to be utilized. I believe these tires were rated for 50000 miles and normally I can make my tires last.

I grew up in the tire business (my dad sold them) and I'm pretty familiar with tire failures. I would'nt use korean tires (if I had a choice). I also worked in Korea a number of years and am aware of their attitude towards quality.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TIRE TO ANYBODY.

just rolled over 50,000 on a set of these OEM tires on my 2004 XLT F150 and looks like they have at least another 15000 before the tread indicators are exposed. I am getting ready to replace them as I live in the sticks, drive dirt roads and winter is almost here

I have had these tires on my 2007 ford work truck since new and now 34563 miles later am replacing them. They are obviously worn as that many miles will do.

I am switching to a more durable all- terrain tire as I encounter terrain more suited for that tire. Have had no sidewall problems with my tires.

Tires are miserable. I have had tires for less than 20,000 miles and have more flats on highway use than any vehicle I have ever owned. The rubber is too soft or something. Two tires have been ruined, I would not recommend these tires to anyone. I am having them replaced as soon as possible.

Editorial Comment:

The writer's disappointment is understandable, but sometimes I wonder if we don't jump to the wrong conclusions when something happens which we're not expecting.

I would love to hear back from this person 20,000 miles after the replacement tires have been installed to see how the experience has been and reporting on any other changes that might have occurred over this time such as road conditions, construction work, routes and destinations, drivers, and other factors which might have an influence on the problem.
