Apollo Tyres  Ltd is a major tire manufacturer in India.

Started by Raunaq Singh in the year 1972 with the first tire manufacturing plant at Perambra, Trichur, Kerala, India , the company now has 5 manufacturing plants. Its head office is at Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

Nearly 99% of the company's sales are produced by automobile tires. The company has over 2500 sales outlets throughout India.

In 1995 the company was ranked as India's top tire exporter.
In 2013 Apollo Tyres announced it was going to acquire the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company creating the world's seventh-largest tire company.
Apollo Tyres bought Apollo Tyres South Africa (Pty) Ltd (originally Dunlop Tyres International (Pty) Ltd), manufacturer of various types of automobile tires with brand rights in 32 African countries, 3 tire manufacturing units and retreading plants in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
